Obama compared Republican politicians to Grumpy Cat
The president of the United States imitated a cat in public Friday, perhaps marking his most creative attempt at Republican-bashing yet.
"Why is it that Republican politicians are so down on America? Have you noticed that?" President Obama said, drawing laughter from the crowd at the Democratic National Committee's Women's Leadership Forum. "I mean, they are — they are gloomy. They're like Grumpy Cat."
For the uninitiated, Grumpy Cat is a popular internet meme spawned in 2012 by a photo of a cat who looked, well, pretty grumpy.
