Shooting near NYC's Penn Station leaves 1 dead, 2 wounded

An early morning shooting inside a subway station in midtown Manhattan has left a 43-year-old man dead and two other men in serious condition. The attack took place at the 35th Street and Eighth Avenue subway stop, close to the major transportation hub of Pennsylvania Station. The victims are believed to have been shot at point-blank range. The gunman is thought to have escaped by car, although authorities have not confirmed if he or she is still at large. The motive behind the shooting is under investigation.
