Did HBO just reveal the fate of Game of Thrones' Jon Snow?

Last year, Game of Thrones ended on a massive cliffhanger when fan-favorite Jon Snow was betrayed and repeatedly stabbed by a cohort of his fellow Night's Watch members. He certainly looked dead, though many fans refused to believe it — but either way, it was clear that we'd need to wait until the premiere of the show's sixth season in the spring of 2016 to get the real story.

Or do we? Today, HBO unveiled the first poster for Game of Thrones season 6, which features a very familiar face:

Hey! It's our old buddy Jon Snow, looking pretty much fine (beyond that gentle splash of blood on his face).

It certainly looks like he'll be back next year, but when it comes to Game of Thrones, you can't really count on anything. After all, this wouldn't be the first time HBO promoted a new season of Game of Thrones with a poster of a dead guy.
