A week after Adele's new album 25 said "Hello" to music fans everywhere, it's still selling like crazy. The artist broke records last week selling 3.38 million albums and, according to Billboard, she's poised to do it again this week. If Adele breaks 1 million sales this week — as industry forecasters predicted she would — she will have the first album ever to sell a million copies in two separate weeks since Nielsen Music started tracking sales in 1991.
In music history, only 20 albums — including 25 — have ever sold more than one million copies in one week, let alone two. In the album's first day of sales in the U.S. alone, it sold 1.49 million copies.
All in all, 25 has sold 4.2 million copies in the U.S. — so far. The final tally for week two will come in on Sunday, Dec. 6.
