Half of 2015's most shared tweets are from members of One Direction
Twitter shared a list of its 10 most retweeted posts in 2015 along with a casual brag that messages on the site "reach all corners of the world." But after a look at the most-shared tweets, it would appear that world is very One Direction-obsessed.
2015 has had its downs for the band, with Zayn Malik leaving in March:
But there were happier times ahead in July, when the group celebrated five years together. Note the inclusion of Zayn in Liam's shoutout:

Never fear, tweets from Louis and Niall also made the cut. In non-boy band news, Kanye West, Leonard Nimoy, Saudi Arabian King Salman, Caitlyn Jenner and some dude named Barack Obama rounded out Twitter's top 10.
