Accused Planned Parenthood shooter exclaims he's 'a warrior for the babies' in court

El Paso County prosecutors announced 179 charges Wednesday against Robert Dear, the man accused of killing three people and injuring 12 during a Nov. 27 shooting at a Planned Parenthood clinic in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
During the hearing, Dear reportedly declared his guilt, saying, "I am guilty, there's no trial. I am a warrior for the babies." According to the Denver Post, he frequently interrupted conversations between his lawyer and the judge, shouting, "Protect the babies."
Dear has been held in jail on the suspicion of first-degree murder since his Nov. 27 arrest after an hours-long standoff following the shootings. At that time, he reportedly told authorities "no more baby parts."
