Watch all the times Jeb Bush called something 'serious' during the debate
The 2016 race is no longer all fun and games, and Jeb Bush wants everyone to know it. In one of the more memorable exchanges of Tuesday night's GOP debate, Bush zinged Donald Trump on his policies: "This is another example of the lack of seriousness," Bush said when Trump proposed killing terrorists' family members.
"Serious," it turned out, was Bush's word of the night — he also used it to shut down Trump's Muslim ban ("Look, this is not a serious proposal"), to stress the need to secure the border ("This is a serious challenge"), and to vow to defeat ISIS ("We need a serious leader").
When it was all said and done, Bush talked "seriousness" 12 separate times during the debate. Watch them all below, via Politico. Jeva Lange
