On Friday, President Obama will travel to San Bernardino, California, to visit the families of the 14 people who were killed two weeks ago in a terrorist attack at the Inland Regional Center.
White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest said Obama will meet with the families privately. The visit was added to the president's previously scheduled trip to Hawaii, where Obama and his family will celebrate Christmas. In an address to the nation following the attack, Obama said the victims "served their fellow citizens and all of them were part of our American family."
