Will Ferrell reinvents himself as the 'hipper, more badass' Santa Claus
Will Ferrell knows what the people want, and that's a "newer, hipper, more badass Santa Claus." On Wednesday's Tonight Show, Ferrell announced that he's decided to fill Kris Kringle's boots and update his schtick; instead of using a sleigh, he's going to deliver presents via drone, and the long beard is gone, replaced with a bro-worthy goatee. Instead of sliding down chimneys, Ferrell's Santa will spend Christmas Eve hanging out in Cabo while sipping on "margys," and if you're extra nice, he might give you a CD from his favorite band — Smash Mouth.
