Jeff Bezos' next goal for Amazon Studios is winning an Oscar
It's too bad there's no such thing as one-click ordering for Academy Awards, or Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos would have one locked down already.
"We want to win an Oscar," Bezos told German newspaper Die Welt. "Our current target is to produce 16 home movies a year."
In competing with Netflix to stream original content, his company isn't doing half-bad so far. Amazon Studios has already snagged some Golden Globe and Emmy awards, thanks to Jill Soloway's Transparent.
