Chris Christie expertly trolls Marco Rubio with a Seinfeld reference
Gov. Chris Christie (R-N.J.) apparently hasn't dialed back his signature East Coast charm this primary season. Speaking to reporters in New Hampshire on Tuesday, Christie whipped out what may be a Seinfeld reference to make fun of competitor Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.).
"Maybe he'll do more than 40 minutes on a little stage telling everybody his canned speech that he's memorized," The Washington Post reports Christie said. "This isn't a student council election, everybody. This is an election for president of the United States. Let's get the boy in the bubble out of the bubble and let’s see him play for the next week in New Hampshire. I'm ready to play, and I hope he is."
Rubio looks to be way ahead of Christie in primary support so far, but maybe he can best the senator in a game of Trivial Pursuit.
