Paul Ryan's primary opponent wants you to remember the speaker's Wienermobile past
Paul Nehlen, who is challenging House Speaker Paul Ryan in the Wisconsin primary, is making the most of his time in the spotlight.
"Paul Ryan went from driving the Wienermobile in Wisconsin to Congress," Nehlen said Monday on Laura Ingraham's radio show, attempting to contrast his own business experience with Ryan's. "That's what you're dealing with here."
Indeed, Ryan was an Oscar Mayer salesman for a summer while in college. Since Ryan recently declined to do the same, his primary battle has gotten a whole lot more interesting, with former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) pledging to take him down.
