The Los Angeles Sparks and Minnesota Lynx will make history when they face off Tuesday afternoon at Staples Center in Los Angeles. The meeting between the 11-0 Sparks and the 12-0 Lynx is the first-ever contest between two undefeated teams with 10 or more wins (and zero draws) in any professional sports league — across men's and women's sports.

The Lynx are the defending champions of the league and are currently the top scoring team, while the Sparks boast the WNBA's best defense. "They're a team that's similar to us in that they match everybody on both ends of the court," Sparks forward Nneka Ogwumike told the Los Angeles Times of the Lynx. "It's amazing that two teams are playing so well and have historic starts."
