A Conservative MP is calling Britain's historic vote to leave the European Union the UK's "Berlin Wall moment."

"Everyone will remember where they were when that result came in," Nigel Evans, a Leave campaigner, told BBC Radio 5. "People have got faith in our country and they want to take control." He also called on Prime Minister David Cameron to stay in his position "so we can focus on what is now necessary to make us a prosperous but independent country."
