Trump says he was being sarcastic when he called Obama the 'founder of ISIS'
At a certain point, you have to wonder if Donald Trump realizes maybe his sense of humor is just not working out. Recently he has "joked" about kicking a baby out of his rally and about a "Mexican plane" over a rally preparing to "attack," and now he says comments he made on Wednesday accusing President Obama and Hillary Clinton of co-founding the Islamic State were "sarcasm."
Having been given the opportunity to clarify on Thursday, when radio host Hugh Hewitt asked if Trump had meant that Obama "created the vacuum, he lost the peace," Trump reaffirmed: "No, I meant he's the founder of ISIS. I do. He was the most valuable player," Trump said.
Trump's strange sense of humor doesn't seem to impress comedians. "It's mostly the job of the comedian to make a joke that's at least recognizable as a joke," stand-up comedian Myq Kaplan told The Washington Post.

Comedian Judy Gold was even more blunt: The jokes are "not funny." "If you have to explain them, it's not funny," she said.
