An 86-year-old has some strong words for the woman who allegedly stole her purse

Some people are quick to forgive those who have wronged them, choosing to let go of their anger in order to move forward. Bernice Starnes, 86, is not one of those people.
The feisty Bronx, New York, resident is publicly calling out the woman who she says stole her purse on Sunday as she sat in a wheelchair outside her apartment building. "She wants to hurt me," Starnes told PIX 11 News in an interview Wednesday. "And the bitch don't even know me." As far as Starnes is concerned, no punishment is too severe for the suspect; she said she hopes that when the woman is behind bars, "they beat her ass every day for as long as she's in there." When asked by the interviewer if she was being too harsh, Starnes snapped, "Well, so what? What she did to me was even worse," later adding, "I'm supposed to feel sorry for that bitch? I don't!"
After watching surveillance footage showing the suspect grabbing Starnes' purse and later throwing it away in a trash can, police made an arrest. The suspect, identified as Adrianne Terry, has been charged with grand larceny and petty larceny, and when asked by PIX 11 if she had anything to say, she replied, "It wasn't me." Starnes is adamant that if she is found guilty, Terry should stay locked up "for the rest of her freaking life." Listen to the rest of Starnes' real talk in the video below. Catherine Garcia
