In 1999, Donald Trump bemoaned that Hillary Clinton had 'been through more than any woman should have to bear'
Less than two hours before the second presidential debate, Donald Trump hosted a panel with four women who have accused Bill Clinton of sexual misconduct. But it was exactly this kind of public accusation that Trump once bemoaned Hillary Clinton having to "bear" in 1999:
"I mean, women go through this on a private basis and can't take it," Trump had told Wolf Blitzer 17 years ago. "[Clinton] is on the front page of every newspaper every week with what went on in Washington. I think she's a wonderful woman."
Oh, how times have changed.
