A New York City ballet dancer is being hailed as a hero after leaping onto the subway tracks to rescue an unconscious man. Gray Davis, 31, who dances at the American Ballet Theater, was waiting for the train with his wife when the unnamed man was pushed onto the tracks and knocked unconscious. Onlookers screamed for help, but when none was forthcoming, Davis took matters into his own hands — jumping down onto the tracks. After hoisting the man to safety, Davis faced his next problem: getting back up onto the high platform. "Luckily, I'm a ballet dancer," he says. "So I swung my leg up."
