Donald Trump Jr. taunts media, calls Democrats desperate over Russia meeting story
Donald Trump Jr. has found himself at the center of a massive unfolding controversy after reports that he met with a Russian lawyer in June 2016 for damaging information about Hillary Clinton, knowing that the source of the alleged dirt was the Kremlin. Trump Jr. has since hired a criminal defense lawyer, who said in a statement to CNN on Tuesday that the scandal is "much ado about nothing."
An active Twitter user like his father, Trump Jr. also took to Twitter to defend himself:
Natalia Veselnitskaya, the lawyer who met with Trump Jr., denied connection to the Kremlin on Tuesday but claimed "it's quite possible that maybe they were looking for such information [about Clinton]. They wanted it so badly."
