Whoopi Goldberg sternly rebukes Roseanne for tweeting a 'horrific' fake meme about her
Roseanne Barr came for Whoopi Goldberg and she was hit hard with the clap back.
Even though Barr apologized Tuesday for the viciously racist tweet that resulted in the swift cancellation of her show Roseanne, the now-unemployed TV star was at it again later that evening, retweeting a doctored photo of Golderberg apparently wearing a T-shirt showing President Trump shooting himself in the head. The original tweet read, "Out of curiosity @ABC & @Disney this is okay with you? Hypocrisy on the Left is sickening! Your Pathetic! #BoycottABC #IStandWithRoseanne."
During Wednesday's episode of The View, Goldberg directly addressed Roseanne and explained how the false meme came to be. The original image was taken in 2017 at the Women's March, where Goldberg was actually wearing a T-shirt that read, "And you thought I was a nasty woman before? Buckle up, buttercup." Goldberg called the image "horrific" and slammed Barr for helping to perpetuate a false narrative about her.

“Just because you were caught with your pants down, don’t try to drag other people down with you," Goldberg said. "I didn’t fake my shirt, someone else faked my shirt. But that’s your tweet. That tweet came from you. So that’s yours. You did this to yourself.”
Barr has since deleted the tweet, but hasn't apologized to Goldberg. Instead, she continues to protest the idea that she is a racist, claiming she has spent her entire life "fighting 4 civil rights 4 all minorities."
