Former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort hospitalized

President Trump's former campaign chairman Paul Manafort has been transferred from a Pennsylvania federal prison to a hospital, his attorney Todd Blanche confirmed on Tuesday.

Two people with knowledge of the situation told The Associated Press Manafort, 70, was hospitalized for a heart-related matter. Manafort was one of several Trump associates who was indicted during former Special Counsel Robert Mueller's Russia probe, and was found guilty of tax fraud and conspiracy. He is scheduled to be released on Dec. 25, 2024.
