BAD DAY FOR: The mighty dollar, after McDonald’s said it might raise the price of its $1 double cheeseburger, among other changes to its Dollar Menu, by next year. Locations not wanting to up the price are experimenting by cutting the cheese to one slice, calling it a “double hamburger with cheese,” or holding the cheese altogether.
