Former presidential candidate (and Jeb Bush endorser) Sen. Lindsey Graham offered a dire warning to the Republican Party on Monday about the prospect of nominating Donald Trump.
"Donald Trump is the most unelectable Republican I've seen in my lifetime," he said. "Every problem we had in 2012, he's made worse." Graham also suggested that choosing Trump would guarantee a GOP loss come November, because "dishonest beats crazy."
This past summer, Trump gave out Graham's personal cell phone number during a campaign speech after the senator called him a "jackass." Graham proceeded to demolish his own phone on camera, and since then has critiqued Trump's foreign policy and called him a race-baiting xenophobe.
