Authorities: Flight attendant fled LAX, leaving behind cocaine-filled luggage

If you see a barefoot flight attendant wandering near Los Angeles International Airport, let her know the police would like to speak with her about the cocaine and Gucci shoes she allegedly left behind in the terminal.

Crew members are normally not subjected to TSA searches, NBC News reports, but on Friday night, an unidentified Jet Blue flight attendant was selected for a random screening. Authorities say the woman appeared nervous, and called someone on her cellphone, speaking in a language officers didn't recognize. When she was brought to a secondary screening area and asked for her employee ID, the woman suddenly took off, running with her bags toward an escalator. Not long after, she ditched the luggage and her shoes, and left the terminal.

Investigators found at least 60 pounds of cocaine inside the two carry-on bags, and the DEA says the woman is facing felony drug charges.
