British astronaut and space marathoner Tim Peake lands on Earth after historic space station trip


Completing Britain's first trip to the International Space Station (ISS), astronaut Tim Peake has landed back on Earth.
Peake was in space for six months with American Timothy Kopra and Russian Yuri Malenchenko, during which time he became the first person to run a marathon in space while tied to a treadmill. (He finished the 26.2-mile race in 3 hours, 35 minutes, during which time the ISS traveled around the planet more than twice.)
