Video shows apparent military jet flying low over Turkish capital

Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim told local media Friday that a sector of the military was attempting an illegal coup. The responsible army personnel released a statement saying the military had taken power over the government, though conflicting reports have muddled exactly whether Turkey's democracy has been overthrown. Troops have been seen in Istanbul and the capital city of Ankara, though it's still unclear which side of the conflict they are supporting.
