Dick and Liz Cheney slam Obama on Iraq: 'Rarely has a U.S. president been so wrong'
Former Vice President Dick Cheney and his daughter, ex-State Department official Liz Cheney, re-entered the public debate about Iraq on Tuesday night, with a guest column in The Wall Street Journal lambasting President Obama's handling of the situation.
Notably, the column accuses President Obama of having been spectacularly wrong about Iraq — with no mention of Vice President Cheney's own vast errors in 2002 and 2003 about Iraq allegedly having weapons of mass destruction, or his predictions that the war would go smoothly:
The Cheneys' column also lobs a severe charge at the current President of the United States: Accusing him of deliberately undermining America's security and position in the world:
