Television presenter Carol Vorderman has revealed that she is "covered in burns" after tripping over on a treadmill… while naked.
The mathematician, famed for co-hosting Countdown, told her 334,000 followers on Twitter about her exercise disaster. Attempting to comfort another tweeter who had experienced a predictive text mishap, she confessed: "I fell off a treadmill running naked (don't ask). Now covered in burns and doctor's dressings!"
Vorderman said she was left with a twisted knee and had to return to the doctors, adding: "I don't think running is for me somehow."

Vorderman, who has previously fronted her own exercise DVD, added that she wasn't sure nude treadmill running "will be an Olympic sport soon though".
