Arrest is no monkey business
A driver was clocked travelling at 112mph through suburban streets in Washington state before crashing his car and fleeing the scene. The man returned briefly to the car to grab his pet monkey and then fled again with the animal on his back. Local police were able to identify and arrest the man 15 minutes later – when he was spotted walking down the street with the monkey still on his back.
Drug requests hinder police investigation
Police in Ohio have made a public plea via Facebook asking people to stop calling a drug dealer's phone as the "constant" calls are making it hard for them to conduct their investigation. "We have [the dealer's] phone and are trying to read all your texts requesting drugs and going through all of his contacts but you keep calling and texting and it's really annoying," they wrote.
