A man has died at a haunted house attraction in Hong Kong after reportedly being hit by a coffin.
The 21-year-old, identified only as Cheung, was found unconscious minutes after entering the Buried Alive ride at the city's Ocean Park attraction on Saturday, the BBC reports.
Medics administered first aid at the scene and rushed the man to hospital, but he died of his injuries. The theme park’s chief executive Matthias Li expressed his “deep sorrow” over the tragedy.

The victim was “believed to have entered into an area for mechanical operations that was not open to visitors and was hit by a mechanical part”, a statement from the Hong Kong government said.
Local media reports suggest that he was struck by a “coffin” at the Halloween-themed event, which has been running since 2001.
The park’s website said visitors would get the chance to “experience being buried alive alone, before fighting their way out of their dark and eerie grave”.
“Visitors are supposed to get inside a coffin-turned-slide, and slip through into the haunted house,” AFP reports, citing local media.
