1. AMC is developing a "companion series" to The Walking Dead

By month's end, Breaking Bad will be over. And the end of Mad Men is also less than a year away. So clearly, AMC needs to find new hits. Fortunately, the runaway success of The Walking Dead has led AMC to the perfect solution: More zombies! In a statement, the network revealed that The Walking Dead's creative team is developing a "companion show" that will tell an entirely new story set in the same universe.
