1. Jaden Smith wants to be emancipated from his parents

One might think that being the child of two talented, multimillionaire celebrities would be enough for Jaden Smith — but apparently you'd be wrong. For his fifteenth birthday, Jaden Smith wants just one thing: Legal emancipation from Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith, so he can live with the maturity and responsibility characteristic of all teenage boys. "He really wants to have his own place," says Will Smith in an interview with The Sun. "If kids just want to have command of their lives, I understand," added Smith, despite having released a song that is literally called "Parents Just Don't Understand."
