1. Jaden Smith wants to be emancipated from his parents

One might think that being the child of two talented, multimillionaire celebrities would be enough for Jaden Smith — but apparently you'd be wrong. For his fifteenth birthday, Jaden Smith wants just one thing: Legal emancipation from Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith, so he can live with the maturity and responsibility characteristic of all teenage boys. "He really wants to have his own place," says Will Smith in an interview with The Sun. "If kids just want to have command of their lives, I understand," added Smith, despite having released a song that is literally called "Parents Just Don't Understand."

2. Vin Diesel thinks Facebook owes him "billions of dollars"

The Social Network was widely praised by critics for its dark, riveting look at the creation of Facebook. But if you ask Vin Diesel, the film missed a key part of the story: Vin Diesel. "What Facebook didn’t realize is something very big was about to happen," says Diesel in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. "When I jumped on that page in April 2009, I started talking to people. In the realest ways… Facebook really owes me billions of dollars." Unfortunately, Diesel didn't seem interested in pursuing actual legal action, which means that 2 Fast 2 Social Network will likely remain a pipe dream.

3. Downton Abbey will be back in January 2014

How long will it be until viewers can return to the stiff, mannered, inexplicably overrated confines of Downton Abbey? The Daily Beast reports that Downton Abbey will be back on PBS in January 2014, nearly four months after the show's fourth season is scheduled to premiere on the U.K.'s ITV. Spoiler-averse U.S. fans are advised to move to the U.K. before autumn — or, if that's not an option, to avoid Twitter, Facebook, or conversation with any of their fellow human beings between September and January.

4. Snooki gives Prince Harry advice for enjoying New Jersey

Prince Harry's ongoing tour of the United States is, perhaps inevitably, landing him in Snooki's backyard on the Jersey Shore. And in case Harry hasn't made time in his schedule to binge-watch the MTV reality series, Snooki has been kind enough to offer him advice for enjoying all the Jersey Shore has to offer. "There are strips of bars everywhere where you can have drinks, maybe meet your future Princess," writes Snooki at People, in the midst of a long list that mysteriously doesn't include "avoid anyone that ever appeared on Jersey Shore."

5. Bing now offers a Klingon translator

eartHlInghS, rejoIche! (Rejoice, earthlings!) Entertainment Weekly reports that Bing — in a cross-promotion for this week's new release Star Trek Into Darkness — has added Klingon to the list of supported languages in its Translator tool. The long-awaited upgrade is sure to prove useful to any time travelers arriving from the 23rd century, or anyone living in their parents' basement in the 21st century.
