George W. Bush has become a grandfather for the first time. His daughter Jenna Bush Hager and her husband, Henry Hager, welcomed Margaret Laura “Mila” Hager into the world last week. The former president has already painted three pictures for the newest scion of the Bush family, including a portrait of Bush Hager’s cat. The former president publicly talked about his newest hobby for the first time last week, saying he was inspired to take up a paintbrush by Winston Churchill, who wrote a book on the pleasures of painting. “People are surprised,” said Bush, of his artistic pursuits. “Of course, some people are surprised I can even read.”
