Grammer’s romantic rhapsody
After three divorces, Kelsey Grammer thinks he’s finally found true love.
After three divorces, Kelsey Grammer thinks he’s finally found true love, said Oliver Burkeman in The Guardian (U.K.). The actor, 58, met his fourth wife, flight attendant Kayte Walsh, four years ago while flying from Los Angeles to London. A few days later, Grammer met up with the blond-haired Brit—who is 26 years his junior—in central London. “She came out of the Tube stop and I just thought, ‘That’s the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen,’” says Grammer. “We went for a walk in Hyde Park, and the moment we stepped in [to the] park, snow began to fall.” The couple rode a Ferris wheel, and as they reached the top, “I looked at her, I kissed her, and we’ve been together ever since. I was finally ready. I was reborn.” What Grammer doesn’t mention is that he was still married to wife No. 3, former model Camille Grammer, at the time. Or that he used to talk about Camille—whose name he now refuses to speak—in similarly rhapsodic tones. He casually bats that last fact aside. “I’ve said nice things about the people I was with before, but that’s what you do,” he says. “This is truly different. It was just magic.”
