Gossip: Billie Joe Armstrong
The 40-year-old singer checked into rehab after an expletive-laced onstage breakdown in Las Vegas.
Years of rock stardom have taken their toll on Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong, said HuffingtonPost.com. The 40-year-old singer checked into rehab this week after an expletive-laced onstage breakdown in Las Vegas. Armstrong launched into a tirade at a music festival last week, when the band reached the end of its allotted time slot. “I’m not f---ing Justin Bieber,” he yelled, then smashed his guitar before leaving the stage. Reps later confirmed that Armstrong entered a treatment facility for substance abuse this week.
