Gossip: Arnold Schwarzenegger
Schwarzenegger believes that he and Maria Shriver will eventually reconcile.
Arnold Schwarzenegger first admitted he’d fathered a love child in marriage counseling with wife Maria Shriver, he says in a new autobiography. The actor tells how Shriver confronted him the day after he left the California governor’s office about her long-standing suspicions he’d fathered a child with their housekeeper. He confessed that he had “screwed up’’ when she was out of town, and was still “turned on’’ by Maria, but she filed for divorce. He still believes they will reconcile eventually. “Call this denial,” he writes. “But it’s the way my mind works.”
