Lap dancing as an art form
An upstate New York strip club is trying to reduce its tax bill by claiming that lap dancing is an art form equivalent to ballet. “It’s not the Bolshoi, but it’s good,” Andrew McCullough, attorney for the Nite Moves club in Albany, said in court this week. State solicitor Robert Goldfarb countered that “if the women kept their clothes on, no one would be coming to this bar for the dance performances.”

A Florida man has been accused of stealing a truck and a trailer to build an underground survival bunker in his yard. Police say the man used a backhoe to dig a large hole and bury the two vehicles, so they could be converted into a doomsday bunker. The man allegedly told police he was “preparing for the worst.”
