John Edwards has vehemently denied a claim by a prostitute who says she slept with the former Democratic presidential hopeful in 2007, said TheDailyBeast.com. The denial comes on the heels of a report by DNAinfo.com, alleging that the former call girl, who worked for reputed “Soccer Mom Madam” Anna Gristina, told investigators she was paid to have sex with Edwards while he visited New York City on a fund-raising trip. “Mr. Edwards categorically denies that he was involved with any prostitute or service,” said Edwards’s lawyer, Allison Van Laningham.
