Television’s love affair with the mid-20th century has just added a new weekly assignation. Jeffrey Dean Morgan stars as the proprietor of a luxe Miami hotel in this atmospheric new series, which opens on New Year’s Eve 1958, as a union dispute threatens to shut down a performance by Frank Sinatra. Colorful characters, Mad Men–topping period detail, and plenty of sex make for diverting viewing. Standouts among the ensemble include Danny Huston as a sociopathic mobster, ex-Bond girl Olga Kurylenko, and the scene-stealing Seymour Cassel. Friday, April 6, at 10 p.m., Starz
