Gossip: Sean Young
The actress was arrested for allegedly slapping a private security guard outside an Academy Awards after-party.
Actress Sean Young was arrested this week for allegedly slapping a private security guard outside an Academy Awards after-party, said RadarOnline.com. Young, whose career has faded, was reportedly upset that she wasn’t allowed into the Governors Ball, the official party for the Oscars, and became belligerent. A member of the security team placed the Blade Runner star, 52, under citizen’s arrest until police arrived. Young was kicked out of an Oscar party in 2006, and went into rehab after she was booted from the Directors Guild of America awards in 2008. Friends say she’s recently relapsed into alcohol abuse. Young said she “struck’’ the guard when he grabbed her arm, but insisted that she was sober during the fracas, and demanded a “public apology” from the Academy.
