Should Lindsay Lohan pose nude for Playboy?

Less than a week after being sent back to jail, reports leak that the struggling starlet has accepted a $1 million offer to bare all in the men's magazine

Lately, troubled starlet Lindsay Lohan seems to be most famous for her rampant legal troubles, but that may change after a reported $1 million deal to pose nude in Playboy.

One overexposed celebrity is apparently about to expose even more of herself. According to TMZ, Lindsay Lohan, who was recently released on bail after being sent back to jail for violating her probation, has accepted a nearly $1 million offer to pose nude for Playboy. (According to some reports, the photos have already been shot.) Reps for the actress and for the magazine have not confirmed the reports. Lohan has appeared almost-nude before, in spreads for New York and GQ. Still, some critics argue that posing for Playboy is a desperate move that marks a low point in the troubled actress' once-bright career. Is this a smart move for the struggling starlet?

This "makes me sad": Lohan has been increasingly open about her drug use in recent years, and her personal and familial troubles are routinely national news, says Kate Ward at Entertainment Weekly. But if she poses for Playboy, "she might be revealing simply too much." Really, this "just feels like exploitation" — not to mention an attempt by Lohan to make headlines for something other than her legal troubles, which "just feels desperate."
