A new memoir from the ex-girlfriend of John F. Kennedy Jr. portrays him as an adventure-seeker with a reckless side. In the book, released this week, Christina Haag, who dated JFK Jr. for five years in the 1980s, says he brought a book on tantric sex with him on a trip the couple took to Jamaica, where they also smoked marijuana together. On that trip, he also nearly killed them when he steered his collapsible kayak into a boulder, dumping them both into the Caribbean. Later, he worried that Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis might find out. “Don’t tell Mummy,” he told Haag. Kennedy died in 1999, when the small plane he was piloting crashed off Martha’s Vineyard, Mass.
