Film director Steven Soderbergh was hit with a paternity suit this week by an Australian woman who claims he fathered her daughter while directing a play there, said EOnline.com. Frances Lawrencina Anderson claims that a DNA test has already proved Soderbergh’s paternity and that the director, 48, “has acknowledged the paternity of the child verbally.” Soderbergh, who is married to former model Jules Asner, said he has been trying to negotiate a settlement with Anderson for a year.
