Joaquin Phoenix’s two-year-long public meltdown was indeed a hoax, said HuffingtonPost.com. Casey Affleck, who directed I’m Still Here, the film that purports to chronicle the actor’s descent into disheveled madness, this week confirmed speculation that Phoenix was acting the entire time. “It’s the performance of his career,” said Affleck.
