Woody Allen this week denied reports that he fired French first lady Carla Bruni-Sarkozy from his upcoming film, said The Huffington Post. “This is 100 percent untrue,” said the director, responding to a report that he cut Bruni-Sarkozy from the film after she needed more than 30 takes to film a scene, then hired another actress to play her role. “Everything she shot is in the picture. I did hire another actress for a totally different role. They’re both in the picture.”
