These three winemakers were not among those who tarred Beaujolais by illegally boosting alcohol levels.

“Beaujolais has had a tough ride,” said Elin McCoy in Bloomberg.com. The reputation of “these drink-me-now reds” was tarred by scandal when winemakers illegally boosted alcohol levels. These three winemakers, though, “have been keeping the soul in Beaujolais all along.”
