Jesse James says he “wanted to get caught cheating” on Sandra Bullock. In his first television interview since tabloids broke the news that he was unfaithful to the Oscar-winning actress, James told ABC’s Nightline that his affairs were “me trying to self-sabotage my life.” James says he understands that he’s “the most hated man in the world” right now, and that Bullock is still the most important person in his life. “It’s hard for me to talk about because I still really love her and care for her,” he says, adding, “I took a pretty amazing life and marriage and threw it away.”
