Alexa Ray Joel, daughter of Billy Joel and Christie Brinkley, is attributing her recent suicide attempt to “heartbreak-related depression” stemming from a breakup. Joel says she’s going back to school to study psychology in hopes of helping other young girls deal with this “very serious and painful condition.’’
