Lindsay Lohan’s father, Michael, this week released several recorded phone conversations between himself and Lindsay’s mother, Dina, in which they describe their daughter as a “cutter’’ who harms herself with sharp objects and abuses the prescription drug Adderall. They also talk about Lindsay’s secret relationship with Heath Ledger, which apparently was going on at the time of the actor’s drug overdose. Michael Lohan said he released the tapes to prove that his daughter was in trouble, while Dina called the release an “unforgivable” invasion of privacy.
