Boris Yeltsin was funny when drunk. ln an upcoming book about the Clinton years by historian Taylor Branch, Bill Clinton reveals that a late-night drinking session during Yeltsin’s 1995 visit to the White House ended with the then–Russian president staggering drunk, clad only in his underwear, onto Pennsylvania Avenue. Yeltsin was trying to hail a cab because he wanted a pizza.
